When I bought my '13 Roush Stage 3 in 2013, I was paying 3.75 for a seven year loan. I said to myself, screw this! lol I refinanced at 1.99% with Bridgewater Credit Union. I still made the original payments and then some and just paid it off last month.
Just ordered a 2016 truck and am going to use them again to finance when the new truck comes in, hopefully in December.
My '12 was through Ford at 0%/60 month but when I bought the '15 they were only offering 4.9%/60 month so I went with NavyFed (2.49%/60 month). Naturally, Ford offered 0% again two months after I bought the car. January and September seem to be the times to buy vehicles when it comes to low interest rates from Ford.
1.75% 72 Months @ Suncoast Credit Union, with $200 cash rebate from them. They will do used or new at this rate (no minimum amount, 2005-present, 125% NADA). They do 2.5% @ 84 (if $25k+), or 1.5% for cars with combined 28 MPG. Great bank.
Unless you are getting 0% from the manufacturer, you should almost always arrange your own financing. This same offer would be 2.25% at the dealer with the same bank since they typically keep a half percent. Not sure how easy it is to get membership if you don't live in FL, but if you do, this bank should be on your short list.
