No, I did not use Xplan as that is above this amount. I simply went in and shared with the dealer that I wanted to order a 2015 Mustang on a cash deal and wanted to pay invoice. I told them that I was happy to pay invoice + tax, title, license but I do not want to pay for advertising, fuel, or service fees which are pure profit and made up fees that never used to be charged until recent years. They had no problem removing the advertising and fuel charge. The service fee they had to charge ($209) under state law so that means they gave me the care for $209 below invoice so the check I cut is for invoice. Make sense?

Always remember that the car dealer also gets a 3% of MSRP dealer holdback (about $1,250) of necessary profit along with other dealer incentives that the buyer never gets to hear about. Also, given this is a direct order they won't need to carry the car on their books nor incur any costs other than taking the car off the transport and cleaning it up for me.
Nice job!

Out the door price of 30527 w/ tint!

Got 1.75% APR for 60 months from USAA. Maybe the dealership can do better.

Just put down the $200 refundable deposit yesterday! And I'm still thinking i could've gotten a little more off the price... I had a few dealerships said they price match, but the one I went with is 10 minutes from my house. They wouldn't do the free oil changes when i asked :headbonk:

How did you get 1000 for the switch cash, I thought it stated it was only 500 for the Mustang

That might actually be 500 SWITCH and 500 AUTO SHOW. That's an additional rebate available in Houston right now, but per the fine print it's only if you take delivery on existing dealer stock by Feb 2nd.

None of the dealerships could really tell me the specifics, I knew more than they did, but every one kept quoting $1k rebate. I have it in writing and signed, so regardless I'm not paying a penny more!

I just ordered my GT last Tuesday. I have a question first before I list every thing. What is the X plan? I will be payingCash for my car. So there will not be any financing incentives that I can use.

2015 GT Premium $36,300
Package 401 A. $1,795
GT Performance pac $2,495
Premier trim with color
Accent. $395
Voice-Activated NAV $795
Recaro Sport seats. $1,595
Soft sided cargo Organizer
$71
Destination. $825
Net Price $44,271

The dealer also had a $2000 price adjustment, that I had them remove in writing, before I ordered the car. I have bought many cars from this dealership they handle several high-end and basic Brands.

X plan: https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/jsp/howitworks/fordpartner_rules.htm

X/A/Z/D Plan: http://m.at.ford.com/mobile/Pages/article.aspx?article=Clearing Up Confusion from A to X to Z.aspx

In a nutshell, x plan is a predefined price from Ford that almost every dealership will accept, IF you qualify. It's about $100 over the invoice price. There are tons of threads on this very forum about x plan pricing and how to qualify.

Vehicle price, financing, and trade in are all separate negotiations and should be treated as such.

Regardless, never pay more than x plan.

Yeah baby!

Just ordered a:

2015 Mustang GT Premium Coupe
Black
Equipment group 401A
GT Performance Package
Enhanced Security Package
Adaptive Cruise Control
Premier Trim with Color Accent,.. Ebony
Reverse Park Assist
Voice Activate Navigation

MSRP: $44,490

Purchased for $40,800 with Doc fee

Does not include, Tax, Title, Registration or INCENTIVES!

So I could see another $500-$1000 in incentives when I get it in about 10 weeks.

Thought that was a pretty good price.

Sounds like a very nice car and about as well equipped as you can get!

I agree with you...I think you got a very good price and I too am hoping to see some incentives when mine gets here in 8 weeks or so. I ordered mine on 1/12/15 so I am already 2 weeks in. Hoping to see it around April 1 and also hoping ford has some incentives in play at that point when I take delivery.

Tracking on the http://cotusb.ford.com website. Still "IN ORDER PROCESSING" but at least its there! Now the long wait for spring....
