Had been having issues with bent and damaged splitter support rods from the custom splitter being so low. Picked up some of these awesome custom sized spring loaded splitter rods from AJ Hartman Aero.

Finally resolved my issue w/ getting a second key FOB programmed. So first dealer couldn't figure out how to get their computer to connect to the car. Not sure how that was messed up. I plugged my obd2 scanner in and connected no problem. Took it to a different dealer and they could connect but it wouldn't detect the fobs in the cup holder slot. Since the car has an aftermarket stereo setup, I was figuring something was messed up under the console. When I looked closer I noticed there was a hole where it should be. Pulled the console and sure enough, it was just laying down amongst the wires and whatnot. Got it bolted back in place and after another trip to the dealer, I finally have two keys for the car.

And then I decided to take a picture after stopping for lunch.

Are your stripes silver? So are mine, but I am guessing the previous owner of mine put them on. Could you get silver stripes on the shadow black from factory?

Yep mine are silver. I bought it from a Chevy dealer and not the original owner. They might have been added by the previous owner because the red pin stripe is about 1/2" offset from the silver stripes instead of adjacent. May end up redoing that at some point. I don't even see an option for silver in the production list. https://mustangfanclub.com/shelby-gt350-gt350r-production-numbers/#2018

That being said, I have definitely seen pictures of other black GT350's with silver stripes which is why I wanted one LOL.

Did my first (since purchasing this winter) oil change with the help of my 4 post lift and the oil change funnel & filter drain from @pilotgore . All went well, 10 quarts, about 1.5 tablespoons of oil in catch can after ~300 miles.

Also, swapped to all black OEM Ford lug nuts, torqued to 150 Ft. Lbs.

Might wash it later with my new Chemical Guys foam cannon setup and then small road trip through the Adirondacks tomorrow 😎

Finished up a track event at Pittrace with Chin. Fun track and great weather. Car performed well and I came across a couple of GT350s and a GT500. Nice change from the ubiquitous Caymans and GT3s.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

Apparently, I set low goals and fail to achieve them. That example is inspirational.

PPF has come a long way. I saw this on a car in TN at a mountain run event. Was really bummed that I didn't know about this before I had my car ceramic coated. Would have done the PPF in Matte finish... Absolutely stunning...

You can PPF over a ceramic coating. It will adhere just fine, and most likely help it come off if you ever need to down the road.
