Yeah, the 12" is the tallest block, but the pitstop ramps are 14". I agree that 8" is not near enough to do some serious wrenching, but I went out and measured my jack and where I had been placing the car on stands in the past, and 14" is a good chunk more than I'm accustomed to working with.

@honeybadger And I think I misspoke...the quick jack is more open underneath than I initially envisioned. I thought the two rails/lifts were connected across the middle by some mechanism. Didn't realize they were separate like that. AND, it comes with 3" blocks. I bet you could get the tires high enough to get the 12" raceramp blocks under the tires that way. That would be a good combo I think.

Which specific quick jack are you guys getting for our car?

Unfortunately I don't think it gets high enough for the tires to slide under. I have the 10s and it BARELY works with 30 series tires. I sometimes have to push wriggle them under. The suspension just drops the wheels too much.

Race ramps are one of those things you bawk at until you breakdown and spend the $$$ and then kick yourself for waiting so long. I spent about $260 for a set of four (come in pairs).

I refuse :cwl::cwl::cwl::cwl::cwl::cwl: when my engine blew I had to remove the splitter to get it on a tow truck. I still refuse.. Im sure they are worth it but anything that expensive has to either bolt to the care or be powered.

Trust me I get it. I Really do. I balked for years. But then I got a set of ramps for the trailer after my door failed due to extra weight from an extended wood ramp. Converted me forever.

So, cruising in 6 at say 65?
More like 70-75, some ups and downs on I-77. Few 5% grades, nothing to serious. And this was with the “Track Use Only” Gurney Flap on. I removed it for the return trip and I’ll check the mileage without

Drove back from Charlotte NC after attending the "GT-350 Track Attack", yep it rained and was only in the upper 60s in the morning . I actually had to turn the wipers on once. But the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires didn't care. What a BLAST !!! Learned so much about the capability of the GT-350.
Man they buzz the snot out of those engines, and the brakes are unbelievable.

Here is the mileage information from the trip home with the "Gurney Flap" in the trunk.
Left at 5:00 PM in the rain and all night so it was a little slower speed wise as the deer were every where ! When I left home to head down the engine oil was 1/2 a quart low, and 1/2 a quart when I got home.

Did the car's first oil change today. I'm using the Jackpoint Jackstands so I had to do the two jack method and jack up from the rear first with a pad, but it wasn't too bad. I thought getting to the oil filter was going to be difficult, but with the wheel off, it's easy to access. The worst part was cleaning everything up from taking out the filter. Next time I just need to do a better job of funneling the oil once I take it out.

Well there you go. Having deer in the area will prevent oil burning while also improving mpgs.

Added some decals from Bemaro. The steering wheel tape is alright and regular electrical tape would've been just as good.

Pretty good mileage for a GT350. Funny you live in Sylvania, I used to live there right off Sylvania ave, lol. Small world.
