Autocrossed it for the first time...And spun out. lol

Simple mistake I made, tried to power out of a turn a little too much...I laughed a bit, and enjoyed every minute of what this car is capable of.

This was with track on, shocks on sport and advance track all the way off. It was loose in the ass end ALL DAY. Haha. Great for smiles, bad for lap times!

Drop front tire pressure to help balance the car.

Drove it for the first time in almost 2 weeks. Filled it up and decided to cruise at 62 on the interstate just to see what the mpg is when driving not like I stole it. I had no clue we could actually achieve this number. This after about 6 miles at 62 and going into neutral to get off of the freeway. Trust me, by the time I got home, back into the 9.9 to 11 range. As you can see I was also prepping for the fun section.

Oil change intervals remain same with canister filter.
Houston Kid, that's hilarious because I did the same thing last night after filling up then resetting the gauge after I had it cruising in 6th at 60 mph. Mine was running over 30mpg! Was going to snap a pic this weekend just for fun on a longer trip but you beat me to it.

Ordered Steeda jack rails (should've kept them from my 2016, ugh) and stopped by a Ford dealer to get supplies for my first oil change. I find it annoying that the owners supplement insists my car still uses the spin-on metal oil filter and mentions nothing about the new cartridge type filter that my car actually has. Also the parts guys at the dealership had no idea what I was talking about.

Eventually one of them somehow found that it's Motorcraft FL2062 (I found it online but had to do some digging). I'm a bit skeptical of this engine using a $7.30~ filter that is also used on Fusions and F150s. I plan to call the FP hotline and confirm this is indeed the right filter. Also, the parts guy insisted my car requires only 8.5 qts of oil...

EDIT: despite his insistence, I know the car takes 10. I bought a case of 12 so I can have 2 extra handy.

How much was the case of oil?

FL 2062 is the right filter. It's in the newest printing of the GT350 supplement. I couldn't find it digitally online at the time, but i did get it with the car.

I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere but why are there variances in the correct oil filter? The supplement I received yesterday says the correct oil filter is the FL-2069-ST. I also received a filter wrench and FL-2069-ST filter which I will be using. Just wondering why yours says 2062 is the right filter ?

Cars built in the 2017 calendar year have a canister style filter, cars built before the winter break in 2016 have the spin on filter.

Ordered some front & rear G-Loc GS1 brake pads from Optimum Performance today. Been squealing terribly (much worse than the average owner) for about 2 months now. Already had Ford replace the rotors and pads and now they're saying I'm out of warranty period (12k miles). Just decided to go aftermarket already so I can stop sounding like a bus rolling down the street.

Autocrossed it for the first time...And spun out. lol

I know it's probably the wind, but figured I'd just ask anyway. Your 350 still n/a right?

Track pack spoiler arrived last night along with the FP Airaid filter. Putting it on will be my little weekend diversion.
Also slapped on the driver's side catch can. Waiting for the passenger side to show up next. Also, got the windows tinted last Monday. went 7% all around.

Washed her down after I exterminated a swam of bugs on the autobahn. It looked like a blood bath had occurred.
