Two days ago I got the calipers painted red. Then yesterday I got the stripes replaced after mine had some nicks in it. I did go with the red border to contrast with the calipers. I ordered the red splitter letters today along with decals for the calipers.

Now that my stripes are done, I will install the track spoiler (just like above) this weekend.

I plan to go to Ford Nationals in Penn next weekend provided weather cooperates.

Obviously sales in Europe are good for Ford and the Mustang!

Ordered Steeda jack rails (should've kept them from my 2016, ugh) and stopped by a Ford dealer to get supplies for my first oil change. I find it annoying that the owners supplement insists my car still uses the spin-on metal oil filter and mentions nothing about the new cartridge type filter that my car actually has. Also the parts guys at the dealership had no idea what I was talking about.

Eventually one of them somehow found that it's Motorcraft FL2062 (I found it online but had to do some digging). I'm a bit skeptical of this engine using a $7.30~ filter that is also used on Fusions and F150s. I plan to call the FP hotline and confirm this is indeed the right filter. Also, the parts guy insisted my car requires only 8.5 qts of oil...

EDIT: despite his insistence, I know the car takes 10. I bought a case of 12 so I can have 2 extra handy.

That filter pictured is not for the GT350. You want a FL-2069-ST filter.

It does require 10 qts, boxes come in 12, much cheaper to buy that way, essentially get two free for the next oil change or for the oil your car may burn (if yours burns oil).

Well, depends, FL-2069-ST (classic style) is for all GT350's made prior to 1/1/2017. If built after that, FL-2062 (cartridge replacement) is correct. Owner's manual should clear up any confusion, here's a pic from a 2017 manual someone else posted in the past:

Our car does require 10 quarts, sorry for the confusion. I was just saying that the parts guy kept insisting it was 8.5 ... I was buying a whole case anyway, as rb92gt explained. I like to keep extras around.

I need to check my owners supplement with the car, but the PDF I downloaded from the Ford Owner site, after putting in my VIN, shows the old filter FL-2069-ST.

I'll surely be ranting on here if this filter ends up not being correct, but I'm glad to see that it is the correct part printed in some of you all's manuals.

No need to call FP. Had mine changed and indeed the FL-2062 and 10 quarts is correct. Works fine.
