My priorities are:
1. Stopping power for street driving
2. Durability

I don't care about brake dust or cost. I'm going to be switching to DBA two piece slotted rotors.

What are the best pads I can buy?

Thanks guys, maybe OEM are best. Nobody feels strongly about anything else?

Powerstop z26 are better than OEM performance pack pads for street IMO. Much less dust and last longer and have around the same bite.
Sounds good, I'll check them out. Thanks

I'll second the Z26. I've noticed no difference between them and the stock pads for daily driving, other than much less brake dust. The fact that they're almost a third of the price of the OEM pads is just icing on the cake.

I feel the same about the Powerstop Z23 pads for a car that is never raced.

OEM, They're allegedly Ferrodo DS2500. I'd personally never pick anything Powerstop if you're looking for "the best".
Ferrodo are better than Power stop?

G-Loc GS1! Higher temp rating than OEM and better bite. Unfortunately there is some dust, but it wipes right off!

I don't care about dust at all

I second the Powerstop Z26 pads, have had multiple sets no issues. Hawk Street performance pads are another great option.

This is an unusual recommendation, but I have been using Raybestos slotted rotors and street performance pads. The pads have a temperature threshold of 1200 degrees, similar to a GLOC R8. But it is more street friendly IMO as there's less noise. Yes, they do dust but they have great bite also. I've been happy with them for a couple years now.
