This is a common characteristic of the car. Mine used to do it on occasion but it seems like its been tuned out by Adam from all of the revisions. Was frustrating and very confusing at times. Just did not want to get back into power/boost after a fast up-shift, almost like you were working harder than the PCM could think and process.
Yep, none of my runs were great because of this. I guess i will just have to shift earlier to keep away. Also, I found that instead of FFS, power shifting worked pretty well to avoid that weird delay.

If you are going all the way through the powerband, you might be losing some time there as well. Revving it out in 1st is probably fine but you might try short shifting through 2nd and especially 3rd, thats where most cars start to reel us in.
