VCM Scanner issue adjusting tire size

Scanner version 5.0.4


I'm trying to update my tire size, so I go into Controls and Special Functions.
Then I select Speedomter

Now it shows me my current gear ratio... but instead of 3.55 it shows 494.08
So I enter 3.55 and hit next
Now it's asking for the new tires size rev per mile, and it shows the current revs per mile at only 120 something.
So I enter the new revs per mile which is 741.49
Then it says, failed to write.

Is there some special math I need to do for the gear ratio, because 494.08 is an odd ass number.

I found where I can submit a ticket with HPTuners, so I've done that. But if anyone knows the answer, I would love to know it.

can you figure out a correlation between tire diameter and gear ratio and tire revolutions?Their must be some math you need to do , it must not car what your gear ratio is or tire size , it must figure it say a 305 35 20 and a 3.73 gear .
