I was just curious whats the widest tire size that you can go on a v6 for front and back(I know you have to adjust all tires if you change the front or back). I cant seem to find anything that will show me whats right.

Do you have 17 or 18 inch wheels?

What does the engine have to do with how big of a tire you can run? I've seen a 305 front and 345 rear setup done by Paul on a stock fender GT PP. That's the largest I've seen, personally I run 275/35/20 all around and it's perfect. If you mean whats the largest tire you can run on stock wheels, if I recall correctly you have the 18 inch 051a wheels which I think 255 might be the largest you could/want to go with.

I have 18's right now but planning on getting 19's. I have seen some stuff were it says that the v6 can only go to a specific size but that's why I'm asking here is to get everyone's input on that. So if I get 19's I will be able to go higher than the 255's then?

If I may the platform ( engine and such) does not matter, the only thing we need to factor is what size wheels you are going for because that dictates the tire size and if you are lowered or not.

So are you going for the factory 19" wheels or aftermarket 19" wheels?

I too have V6 looking for new 20 inch set of wheels, I love the 5 spoke wheels from niche or mmd but man watching youtube videos pretty much all of them have curb rashes or small chips, i'm looking for some wheels that looks good on black car and durable, matte black or bronze or gun metal any help?

Def doable, itll come down to allocated investment amount. but have you checked out Velgen wheels for instance they have the Classic5 in bronze.

As for tires beefy rubber 275/315 tires are my recommendation.

Fellow 6'er. I run 18x10s, 275 40s. These wheels are same weight as a stock 17. Last thing you want to do is put some heavy ass 19s or 20s on a v6...cause the extra weight will impact accelreation more than it would with a higher horsepower car.

That's true that's why when someone is looking for wheels especially when upgrading the diameter you should also consider lightweight options
