no its the mid engine that will bring the vette to the next level, any flat plane crank engine will go there.
Mid engine? Like I said. Late to the party on that one too.

You should live in Boca Raton. Down here a GT 350 is a Mustang. And ZO6s are rental cars.....
Ask me if I give AF. Iā€™m living right with my R.

Z28 and GT350

Great video... Enjoy!
I was thinking the only way the Z was able to keep the 350 within distance was with his braking....till the end. LOL.
So much for Z28 superiority.

Like they say driver mod. I am curious the about the gearing on the GM cars I find them slower at 100+ then id expect.

But z06 ,z28, gt350 I think it's driver. I think the gt350 is a easy car to drive fast.

I've blown off the track chasing a mustang GT. That would make me think maybe he didn't know the course that well.

In a moment of honesty, my one regret with my 2016 Track Pack in 2017 was not waiting a year and just buying a Z06. I have a few friends that have them, one with the Z07 package, and they are seriously mean looking and fast cars. Mind you, I don't need the carbon ceramic brakes or PSC2's, but wanted it spec'd out with the competition sports seats and Z07 appearance package in black. Pretty hard to find one the used car market just like that since I was not buying new at the time. I still say "what if" when I see one and realize that it is a few steps above my car even with my current bolt on engine and suspension mods. My car puts a huge smile on my face every time I drive time, but a Z06 would have been nice......

I completely agree with you on looks.....itā€™s a fing mean looking ride but, somehow in the back of my mind, I always think of my grandpa when I see one. You can read into that comment several different ways but i just canā€™t get over thinking thatā€™s vettes are driven my older men.....well, older than me.....(44)

I also had a ā€˜16 Track Pack because I was tired of waiting for the ZL1 to come out. I then had the opportunity to get an R and I heavily debated a C7Z as the street prices of those 2 cars at the time were very close. The Z looks cool but after seeing multiple ones on the same day and never seeing an R in person, that sealed the deal for me.

As a side note, those Z06ā€™s were driven by old retired looking guys, just an observation.

Great observations. I just turned 50 and here in Atlanta, I see older guys, of which I guess I am in that group now, driving regular C7's, whereas I see more guys between 30 and 50 years of age driving C7 Z06's.

My take- lifeā€™s too short to have regrets.... if youā€™re drawn to another sporty ride and can swing it financially,
