I needed a rear tow hook and decided that the Ford Performance version that fits the GT350 looked like it should fit the GT500 just fine. And it does:

Other than losing the rear light, now hard to install. Did you have to remove the rear bumper to install, I like the look, just looking forward to taking the rear bumper cover off.

You will note in the 3rd pix that I added a light to the tow hook. Found it in the boating section at Academy Sports:

Didn’t use the rubber gasket. Mounted with double sided body tape to the hook.

Instructions:
https://www.cjponyparts.com/media/images/install-pdf/install_m17954rb.pdf

the first 29 pages are for the rear installation
Those instructions are about 90% the same. What I found different:
1. They added cell antennas to the lower cheeks of the bumper cover. Rather than remove them from the mounts in the bumper cover, I disconnected their RF connector in the trunk and pulled the wire out through the hole, leaving them connected to the cover. Easy as pie.
2. The tail lights disconnect at the back of the light instead of the inside the trunk.
3. Once you remove all the pushpins behind the tires, there are 3 screws to remove in that area. Two are behind that felt shield held by the pushpins, and one where the cover meets the fender.
4. Here’s the one that surprised me: GT350’s had a terrible problem with sagging bumper covers. They solved that by adding a screw that’s inside where the taillight area would be mounted. Its a 7mm screw and takes a while to back that thing out. I’ll post a pix of that area shortly.
Once everything is disconnected, just pull the sides outward from the fender, lift up the cover below the taillight areas (off of short stubs), then pull straight back and it pops right off.

Here’s the cover off:

And I should have pointed out that the actual bumper beam has been removed in these pictures.

Here’s the new screw I mentioned:

And here’s where its located. Quite a few turns to get it out as the body blocks it:

I should have also mentioned that the bumper beam is really hard steel. Make sure you have the right sizes NEW drill bits. Start with pilots holes, then go bigger.
