i can't specifically recall how i got that one off, but i do remember using lots of extensions and ratcheting wrenches from both under the car and from the engine bay throughout the process (removed the battery and panels for additional room/vision) - and having a second set of eyes to sight things helps too!

This is the one right next to the a/c compressor lines on the top. I cannot get a ratcheting wrench on it or a deep socket. I am wondering if a ratcheting wrench with a movable head would work better?

I try to short socket but I won't reach the nut because of the stud. The AC line is right in the way so I can't get deep well socket on. I'm thinking of my trial reverse torx and just take the stud out

i definitely took some studs out, to maneuver the header in and out - can't recall if this was one of them. can you get an open ended wrench in there and break it free a quarter turn at a time? if not, make sure you get that reverse torx socket on straight with enough torque, you don't want to strip that thin steel if this is one of the key studs that need to be removed!

I can't even get the reverse torx on there. The AC line is in the way. Even with a swivel attached to the reverse torx. Ahhh. Damn cars

Yeah the hardest one to get to, I got a ratchet wrench in there and was. Got it off but only able to get 1click at a time two clicks towards the end. Just have to stick it out, took awhile. Did you take off the engine mount?

I had to get a flex head ratchet wrench that was the only way I got it off.

definitely remove the engine mount - which reminded me of something else: i recall raising/lowering the engine on my jack at times, might want to see if that helps with access.

Can I borrow that, lol
yeah man that was the only way to get it off for me. i bought these after about an hour and a half of struggle, and got hella fustrated. Bought these for 115 i think but there are some for 89 i think. i liked these because you could lock your angle in place. good luck, you can never have too much tools
