Drove her to work.

Getting the itch to mod her more.

I was cruising about 80, dropped to 4th for a pull. Really needed 3rd. So I really just need rear gears, lol. Quite a learning curve jumping from the Jeep back to the stang.

I have a lil list going.

Regear
Gt500 magneride shocks/struts
BMR CP001 camber plates
Wider rims/tires

That should sort it out.

I still have the steeda lca bearings to press in.

Noico sound deadening for the trunk

The warranty borla mufflers to install.

Cut approx 1.5 to 2 inches off the borla exhaust x pipe to fit my setup better.

Anyone know if you can ceramic coat carbon fiber? Lol

I need something to protect the tips from fading too quickly like the last set.

Ok, checked all fluids. Topped of windshield washer fluid.

Oil change. 10qt 5w30 pennzoil ultra plat, 2 bottles of Ceratech.

@pilotgore

That funnel is still the llama's pajamas. You continue to rock!

Pulled the Ronin drain plug, which is my SOP, and cleaned the magnet. Had a little bit of fine metal on it. Extremely uniform, and not much. This was a cold change. So anything would have dropped down. I cracked it all open, and did some choring. Came back in 2 hours and buttoned it up.

35,925 miles.

Fresh tank of E85. Plus a fresh 4.5 reserve VP racing can.

Steeda rear subframe braces are rusted to poo. Their gray "powdercoat" is the lamest coating I've dealt with. Not sure if im going to paint them, or swap them for BMR. BMR's red coating is still flawless underneath, but isnt exposed to as much debris, being up front.

Car needs rubber. 2 small bubbles and a leak. 3 bad tires. Plenty of tread of course, smh

Ugh, I need to sell a kidney.

How did the GT500 Magneride shocks work out for you? Do you notice a huge difference? What’s the resistance rating on the GT500 shocks?

Havnt sold my kidney yet, they are still on the list of parts to buy.

My FRPP handling pack is still super nice, lol

It will be interesting to run the gt500 with the FRPP magneride tuning.

I got mine a couple of days ago too and I feel the same way.
I can't imagine a Tech driving your Stang. Too many things for them to fiddle with, lmao

I've seen too many vids of Tech joy rides and crashes. Not worth my car getting beat on. Imma hold.

Really, I have trust issues. Heck, they couldnt fix my headliner properly when I went in for that recall.

Overall, screw the stealerships.

I agree with everything you just said here, lol. It’s a chance that just I don’t want to take.

I have a really blunted tune on hold for if I ever have to go to the dealer, cuts off at 50% throttle.

They also can barely fix anything, I don’t think I’ve ever had them properly diag and fix anything in the first try

My fear is that they flash an OEM tune, dont tell me, and blow it up on the E85.

Too much risk.

I just talked to my buddy today. He has a 2022 Mach 1 and he too has received his recall. He said that he has been reading that a lot of Ford dealers are sending out their mobile tech service for the recall which is merely a 15 min. flash. If that’s the case, I might be inclined to do that, if I can find a dealer that would come to me, so that I can keep a close eye on em and make sure they don’t screw something up.
