Stock clutch gone during racing. Which clutch do you recommend

first time at the track with my boosted stang and my clutch said f u lol

I’m boosted procharger with 550whp I plan in the future to go no more than 650whp

What clutch do you recommend and no how does it feel. I need to order one ASAP

im going exedy, ive had them in 4 cars and never had one prob. a follow stang owner im buddys with has a rst and he likes it mantic is over priced imo,rst will do the same as a mantic

Exedy Grooved Mach 600 Stage 4 Clutch w/ Hydraulic Throwout Bearing (11-17 GT)?? Is this any good??

I want a clutch that can handle the track would only go few times a year. I heard the rst has loud noise when at 1500 rpm??

yep the mach 600 is what im going to go with when i do mine.. rst noise isnt loud, its there its just a little chatter is all. have to expect some from a duel clutch system

I have the rst. No noise. Better feeling than stock. Smooooth.

I used the RST when my car was N/A, when I boosted it the RST only lasted a few passes at the track. The RXT replacement is mint.

lots of good options, the mach 600 is a great single disc, the rst, rxt are very nice to the exedy hyper is real nice, simiilar to the 600, but 40% lighter.

I run the Mach 600 clutch and am very happy with it. Much better feel than stock IMO, and handles 700+whp on Hoosier slicks without difficulty.

90% of my driving is in the city and the pedal effort is very nice; no complaints. Purchased mine from Beefcake and had it shipped and delivered rather quickly.

I bought the rst from beef cake Hope I didn’t screw up I saw the guy above said it didn’t last boosted. I’m 550whp boosted now looking to go 650whp max so hope I didn’t make wrong choice. Thought it was advertised for 800

just realize that people use their clutches all different ways. If he says his didn't last, what does that mean? Was he launching it at 6000 rpm at the track or even on the street? I had 9000 miles on my stock clutch boosted and when I rebuilt my motor I replaced it because everything was apart, but that stock clutch looked new. Even the pressure plate looked decent. I drove with some sense on the stock clutch, but did abuse it here and there and it was fine, so the rst should be no issues, unless your doing 5-6k clutch dumps or riding it out to launch hard.

the rst works great, if your doing alot of burnouts, at the strip, it doesn't hold up to heat like the rxt, but it's a great clutch
