Have those of you who installed the Steeda rails or any other jacking rails for that matter experienced creaking sounds when angling into or out of driveways? Deciding if this is something I'll accept for the convenience or not. Thanks.

never had an issue. They are a thing of convenience...... the turn of a few bolts and you can take them off with ease.

Nope

No noise here with my Steeda rails. Are you sure the bolts are tight on yours? I also scraped away the caulking gap filler used from the factory on the seams before I put them on and then spray painted the areas so no risk of corrosion. This makes the rails fit very flush, not sure if it matters as I am sure most didn't do it this way.

I have never seen an instance of someone having creaking & we are on here pretty much every day.

Let me know if I can help assist with the Steeda Jacking Rails.

Best Regards,

One thing that may be something to look at ... & if you can provide pictures, that would be great, is the sealant.

Are they somehow not allowing the rails to sit flush & it is causing a creak

The good news is ... we are here to help!

I removed all of the sealant prior to installing mine and as stated above, no noise with mine.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I installed the rails today and they are very low profile and sit only a 1/4" or so below the pinch weld. I removed all of the seam sealer that was in the way. When jacking they deflect pretty much right to the pinch weld at the jack point. I assume this is the normal deflection engineered into them and everything is just fine? Just checking to make sure. I believe at one time these rails were deeper and may not have deflected all of the way to the pinch weld when jacking?

Are you sure it's not your seat? My seat creaks like a son of a beeeeeech and it literally sounds like it's coming from the rear suspension, but I can isolate the seat and all the noise is gone. It's maddening but... Ford.
