Be nice. Be honest or quiet (remember the 5th amend) just don't flat out lie. Follow instructions the LEO gives you and that is your best bet overall. Get a lawyer if you need to. Pretty simple.

The day after responding to this thread, I'm driving down a local route, and see a Black s550 PP car pulled over by the Po-Pos. I stuck my arm out the window and waved.

The only way I see autonomous car driving viable is if we had a government tax on gas so bad there would be no point to make them.

No accidents, no violations, no over burden courts, no drinking or driving, thousands of high paying jobs, little or no traffic, no money going to evil opec and no pollution....yet..we still want to drive.

i just try to be respectful without brown nosing and just have the attitude that i know exactly what i was doing wrong (because im not an oblivious driver like the rest of the masses) but i pretty much go in with the attitude of accepting whatever punishment they want to give me and they usually let me go with a warning.

I got clocked at 85mph in a 65mph.. in reality I was doing much more, I was slowing down at the point I got hit Lol.

It's not a big deal really.. just get a lawyer, I'm sure there are tons of local firms everywhere than deal strictly with traffic violations, it's pretty big business. I hired the Ticket Clinic, they rescheduled my court date twice and on the third showing the charges were dropped and the case was dismissed, 0 points, no fine just the $80 lawyer fee which beats the $300 ticket and points on my license/increased insurance cost.

The lawyers have all kinds of tricks they use to get these kinds of cases dismissed.. from calling into question the method of clocking the speed, to the calibration of the system used to officer simply not showing up to court.. Lol. Don't ever just pay the fine unless it's zero points, fight it in court but be courteous to the officer and NEVER admit guilt.

I'm curious as to what high paying jobs would be out there? In fact if autonomous cars became a thing there would be millions of jobs lost in the transportation industry. Bus drivers, taxis, delivery, truckers...it would be devastating to our economy.

Coroners, lawyers, tow trucks, police, crash reconstruction, etc.

They can't make a phone that doesn't glitch at some point. Would I want to ride in something that if it came across a latter in the road it would just slam on the brakes and you'd get ran over by a loaded semi that couldn't stop? Them things are like a nerdy kid, they can't program common sense in them to swerve through the grass or roll through a yellow light to keep someone from rear ending you.

idk, it's too detailed for an avatar but thanks for the kind words so I'll repost it here.

The pic is left to right. Escort Redline, Android weather app, Uniden police scanner, iPhone Waze app, PapaGo dash cam, Valentine One far right with remote display in the gauge pod. There's also an ALP parking sensor nested down there in front of the stick. These are "situational awareness enhancements" not for daily driving.
