Slightly change the exhaust sound of the Ecoboost?

Well, I have mine now 2 days.
Love the car!

But I wish the exterior sound was as great sounding as the exhaust sound on the inside.

What options do I have to let the sound on the outside sound as exciting as on the inside?

One of the best custom exhaust builders in the Netherlands is pretty far away (Groningen), but they are highly praised for their work.

You might wanna consider them. They are not cheap but will build you the exact sound you want with high quality components and a good warranty. And remember, when you get a system from the US there will be high costs for transport, import duty and VAT and you will still have average quality components at best.

Street or competition version?

I'm a bit confused. There are exhausts from Borla and exhausts from Ford Racing by Borla. So are these two different things?

muffler delete

honestly, i was about to pull the trigger on the mbrp exhaust set for like 500 but i stalled, and reconsidered the muffler delete. Decided on the muffler delete, 220$ and i think it's great. at idle its about 2-3 notches louder than stock, when u floor it it really gets juicy

These are street, at time of ordeirng there was no competiton version at FR (don't know if there is one now).

The engraved brand name is different and price as well. Borla branded is more expensive. (info from Borla distributor)

I like the Ford racing engravement on top of the exhaust pipes, little extra...

Dennis, if you're interested I might consider a swap to the new FR quadruple Touring axleback kit.

I recommend pulling the trigger on a custom catback or turboback exhaust.
Not saying big companies are bad, just more expensive and they make exhaust for that model in general. A custom exhaust is made for YOUR needs. You can get a turboback with the sound of an axleback(though defies the purpose). You tell them what you want, and they provide it.
I love my turboback. Roars when pulling, silent when cruise control. Purrrfect.
