Just use this. Solder it to the incoming wire of the origional connector in your center console (out of view).

I just use the cigarette lighter plug in the center console for this. It auto shuts down power after about 90 minutes. The lighter plug in the storage compariment in the center console is also auto shutting down power after 90 minutes.

Remove the sidepanels of the centerconsole. Over there, there is the back end of cigarette lighter connector. Lead the dashcam connector to the front and plug it in. Or.. Lead the dashcam connector to the back of it. But fist solder a new cigarettelighter plug on the back of the existing one...

Yes it has. It is clear colored self adhesive vinyl.

Wait... So you've put in the EU taillight in an US car. No mods? And the amber is blinking as an EU version and the red is blinking like the US version? Without any modification? This looks like the functionality of this is build into the light unit itself...

I've removed the original spring. Now I am driving without the assist spring and I like it so much.... no need for another spring for me. :)

Thanks! It is sticking very good. I am impressed :) But it will fail eventualy. I am 100% sure about that. It is on a rim. I've seen it so many times and there is (to my knowledge) no good vinyl which will stick on a rim for more than, lets say, 4 months.

I only have this set. But I do have the light grey vinyl too. This vinyl is not cut into ready to apply templates. But you can order a piece of vinyl for you to cut yourself. It is the same glossy version but with a light grey tint.

Thank you Voodoo077! About the controls: I truly have no idea if it will pass. The first 4 years a new car does not have to go to the controls. But it looks like a factory color now. I don't think anyone will notice it. :)
