400-odd miles is a long way to come for maybe getting a lap of the track
That's a lot of tailgating and not indicating!

Ah you mean a lap in a demo? Idk. Most people are getting 40 odd mins on the track I think?

Can't see any reason why you couldn't just turn up anyway if you wanted to spectate of blag a passenger lap. Invites would only be critical if you wanted to take your own car on track

So is mine, but, I have annual leave, and, well, i'm going to use it, because how often do you get asked to go to Silverstone, with Mustangs .

My literal thought process is walk back into work on Monday (was off this week), and just tell them I wont be in Wednesday, only rule is I need to give 24hours notice :bolt:. I'll get it of, My boss loves me too much to not let me have a day off...

Thought about it over night. Too good an opportunity to pass. Have to get cover from work though (my job means........ well, I HAVE to get cover).

Yeah Stacey should be able to fire the details over. I'm waiting for the official document invite from her or the events organiser. But have a backup invite from Karen should it fail lol!

Possibly one of the main reasons I'm going. Along with to see everyone's cars. But in short everyone's fully aware of my lack of rwd experience. The opportunity to be driving with an instructor will at least soothe my anxiety around driving such a beast of a car compared to my previous little cars I've had. Can't wait, gonna be an amazing day, brilliant of ford to have put it on for us !

By the way, for those who haven't been to Silverstone before; if the weather forcast says summer temperatures and suntan weather........ take a thick jumper or hoodie. All other times, take a big coat.

It's an airfield & everytime I've been, it's cold (even in August). It's well known...... best to be safe
