yup 17 appears to be the cut off for the 7015. make sure its unlocked and has been uninstalled from your truck and get the correct lund tune

What does one look for to verify its unlocked.

I know it has some canned tunes as well as 5 custom tunes for my f150 ecoboost

You just need to make your device unmarried from your f150. This will return your truck t stock.

Scroll down in the settings and it'll say unmarried or something to that effect, haven't looked at mine since I bought it and made sure it was clear to use.

Ok understand all of that it was the term unlocked that threw me.
