Scarlett: 2019 Ruby Red PP2 Build

Hello all,

This will be my build thread for my 2019 GT. I will update this thread whenever I add a new mod, and try to reply to all questions and comments. You can also follow on Instagram @scarlett5.0

The cars specs are as follows:
2019 Mustang GT Premium Fastback
Ruby Red Tintcoat
401a w/ showstopper red premium leather seats
Performance package level 2
Active valve exhaust
B&O Play stereo with Sync3 Navigation
Enhanced security package

I ordered my car on 10/29/2018 but actual order date was 12/07/2018.
In production: 03/05/2019
Awaiting shipment: 03/12/2019
In transit: 03/12/2019
Delivered: 03/26/2019

Here are some pics of the day I picked her up. I had the dealership install Rokblokz splash guards before I left. Also pictured is my previous car, a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec named Vanna.

03/30/2019 - 218 miles

Installed door handle pockets, striker plate covers, door travel stop cover, and a silicone sleeve for my keyfob. All ordered off Amazon.

04/10/2019 - 387 miles

Recieved car back from being ceramic coated and tinted. PPF was installed on the rear quarter panels, 4 coats on the entire car, 6 on the front bumper, wheels coated, glass coated, interior coated, and windows tinted.

I thought Ruby Red was an amazing color before, but the ceramic coating makes it pop even more. The depth and gloss is insane, and it almost glows when the sun hits it. Extremely happy with the results and I'll keep the thread updated with how it holds up.

The wheels were a big part of why I went PP2, but if I have to explain to one more person that I don't need new tires and they're track oriented and are like that for grip, I might take them off lol.

04/12/2019 - 511 miles

Had my MRT h pipe installed by a local shop today. It came out great. I love it. I can't get on it really cause it's not broken in but it really woke the car up. I was giggling like a little girl the whole way home haha. Pull is half throttle to 5k rpm in track mode. I'll post more videos once shess broken in.

Love the sound of the H-pipe. I tried a search and couldn't find a source for the MRT, could you share a link/part number for it? I know several other companies have them, like Steeda. Any other mods to the exhaust? Thanks and happy motoring...

Thank you! I love the deep tone an h pipe gives over an x pipe. My goal is to have the deepest sounding least raspy coyote. I have some ideas how to do it that I'll post up once done, but that's a long term goal. This is where I picked mine up from

I appreciate the link! And I'm with you on the sound, love that deep burble. I'm currently driving a C-7 and I love the LT-1's sound so if/when I switch to the Mustang I'll be after the same sound you're going for. I grew up in the 1960s so big V-8s are in my DNA. I'll follow your build thread with interest!

Make sure the active exhaust wire harnesses at the actuators aren't rubbing on the body seam back there
