Got mine, didn't say not to drive it but you can bet I'm watching gauges really close and probably won't drive very hard until after the fix. I've done the first oil change and have no leaks. I've been checking the dipstick before every startup and the level has been steady.
Got my recall letter today. Pretty much says don't contact dealer. They will contact me. Doesn't sound like Ford is too worried about it, or else they would have shown a little more urgency.
I will continue to drive like normal until A) I am instructed to bring into dealership for repairs, or B) The car goes into storage for the winter, which ever comes first.
Got mine. I will probably remove my splitter and belly pan prior to bringing it in. Does anyone know what type of oil loss will occur due to the line change? I am due for my second oil change but might wait until the recall is completed.
