I am really ready to get back on track at NCM, I will see you there for sure. We have about 6 guys headed down from STL (most are in Vipers) and we will be convoying together Friday afternoon. Hoping for good weather, should be a hoot. Your welcome to pit by us and hang out, it is a great group of guys.

Dave
Nice meeting you Sunday, Dave. Hope to run with you again soon!

Thanks Dave! Hoping to be faster, but I'm fine with the time for now. It was a fun weekend. Good idea on the video. I'll have to check that out. I had my traqmate all set up... and realized I left my formatted SD card at home. :( Looking forward to NCM with MVP in a few weeks.
Were you there Sunday? If so, sorry I didn't get to meet you also.

I didn't make it. Work came up at the last minute and I didn't get to make it. It sounds like you guys had a great time! Wish I could have made it.

Wish you could have made it, Steve and I only got to play one session as I had to leave before the last one and Steve got to the track late on Sunday. We did a session of trading off lead follow and that was a lot of fun. The GT350R is a real deal factory track weapon.

It was a good time, the car did great and while I am still playing with the setup it looks like the changes made over the winter were a step forward. Now if I can just scrape together the money to put in a real transmission I can fix this crappy shifter. I really have to concentrate on the shifter position on every shift and it is driving me crazy. I had at least 20 miss shifts throughout the weekend. I was hoping it would be something I could live with or learn to make it work but I have been tracking with one of the best manual transmissions ever made for the last 15 years and believe me I miss it.

Next Stop......Putnam Park with 10/10ths in May, maybe you and Steve can make that event.

I had a blast doing this and definitely learned what the car can do. Each time out my times improved. I know I could improve my lap times with more downshifting in a couple sections, but I was working on trying to be smooth and drive the correct lines.

I rolled out of Bed at 10AM (Customers in other time zones), jacked up my car, added a pint of oil and went to the track. First time at PBIR (Driving), first track event since December, did ok. stoli is faster. I need to install my J&M Camber plates so I don't destroy my tires. The tires only have so much grip, the R10 G-LOC's overwhelm grip once the front tires get hot and spike in pressure. Hit 190F + in the rear diff, and the fan comes on. Fan is off by the time I park in the paddock. It drops to about 172F off track.

Yes stoli was told he should have been in the Adv group as well. Neither of us had ever driven there. Traffic made it tough to work on lines and figure it out but still always fun. Third session we had some decent clean laps but as you can see in the picture, we would hit traffic again after a clean lap.

This track day shall be dubbed Arctic HST: A Story of Survival. A cold front blew through with flooding rain the day before and left us with a high in the mid 50's clouds, and drizzle through the morning. I couldn't even get my tires up to temp in a 25 minute session and driving like a rabid squirrel. Despite the cold- it was a blast!

Pretty sure I was sub-2' by the end of the day but couldn't get a clean lap without traffic.

Great time! It's nice to see how well the Mustang can perform at that track. I was there the day before with a 2:10 time running RideTech II coilovers on stock tires. First time doing an official HPDE as well.

How did you like running with OnGrid? They seem to have good reviews.
