RTR Grille question

Do the open side elements of the grille cause any issues for anybody? Might be a stupid question, but I notice the stock grille is more restricted on the side with the intake outlet. Wouldn't this cause too much airflow?

I need a replacement grille, but I want to make sure I don't run into any unwarranted issues down the road if I go with this one.
