The real question now is this

Is it worth it to recam this motor or not
With head flow as it is I think I could use a good set of cams

But I'm old school thinking and might be wrong
I will probably lose two or three psi as it sits now and will need to re pully the car just to get back to my 11 psi let alone the 15 psi I'm wanting to see

So what's everyone's opinion. Good blower cams or no!!

Great job OP and very interested in the answer to your question.

Both my 15's have GT 350 heads with stock cams but I get another bite at the one with the KB.
The Hellion car already has a sleeved 5.2 block and I am building another one to swap with the 5.0 currently in the KB car.
I will also be swapping the valve springs this time in the KB car(has the stock GT 350 ;the Hellion has the MMR upgrade).

KB car was seeing more boost(2-3 psi) more than I was expecting for the pulley combo but was not making any additional power with the extra boost(seems tapped out @950 rwhp).

I am expecting it will make more with the extra displacement and the upgraded springs but wondering about doing blower cams this time around to maximize the heads.

First time around tuner was not sold on the idea but I think it may be worth it now.

Definitely more cam since it's apart anyway, make the most of that new airflow. :thumbsup:

Personally, I'd go Stage 2....

worth it to do cams i think then next comes forged engine and built short block i guess only real way to draw a line to stop is when the wallet begins saying enough! lol!

these heads look great cant wait to see what kind of gains and numbers this car makes!

How about a lightweight stock retainer
Just for giggles

It's almost as light now as a Ti retainer
