Anybody know if a ball joint press could be used to remove the LCA bearing.
No you need something bigger, a press with a few tons at least.

Ah shit I was afraid of that. Was hoping not to have to take the whole LCA out of the car.
You'd need to anyway to really get access to it. I am less than excited about this as well when it's time, considering I may have to move my exhaust to get at the bolt.
