Redline Tuning Hood Strut vs Steeda S550 Mustang Hood Strut Kit ?

As for which 1 is better can't answer I put the Redline's on in 2017 I also do car shows so my hood is raised and lowered a lot more than most. They have Never failed.

I had the Red Lines. Didn't care for them. Installed Ford Performance Hood Struts which seem to have a little more "oomph" (lifting power )

I tried them first and noticed the hood would bend a bit when closing
Didn't want to risk a bent hood so switched to redlines

I know this thread is a bit old but wanted to add to stay clear of the FP Struts… they literally cause damage on the bottom mounting hole
