Hey this is Junior from N4SM, on my 2016 GT MT82 car I did the (DSS) drive shaft shop one piece aluminum. Haven't had any issues with it, car feels great.

I have a DSS carbon fiber on my '15 GT manual. No issues and I've been running it for 40k+ miles. I know DSS can be hit or miss, but I guess I got a good one. Have heard nothing but good things about QA1, but they're much more expensive.
I am running a DSS at 1440rwhp in my 10r80. I have also ran QA1 and it held up great as well. I have never had an issue out of either as long as it is installed correctly. Of course you are going to have guys have failures. That is going to happen. But both companies stand behind their product and will work with you on a replacement.
I keep both in stock as well.
