How about a black Anodize?
Ive been talking to Peterson and Aviaid about a dry and wet sump oiling system. If I decide to stay with a stock style oiling system and just go to billet gears this will be a perfect choice of hoses.
One could also use a oil filter relocation base and eliminate the oil filter change mess and vibration issues.
Yep, I think black ano will be sweet. Also the black hose to match. There will be several color options....

Getting ready to hit the track in a few weeks.

I'll be wearing a fire suit for this one.

And a diaper...

When do you think these will be available?

What is the cost for these projected to be?

I definitely like this option, but I fear it will not get the recall branding taken off the vehicle if you do not have Ford replace the hoses themselves. This may be something to install after Ford has already replaced the stock ones.

If anyone has better knowledge of this process chime in

My guys have installed and tested the prototype fittings. Now it's time to make more out of stronger aluminum, probably better than 2024. That's better aluminum than AN fittings are made of. O-rings will be high temp Viton, not rubber like OEM. Viton is rated to 500 degrees and resists vibration better than rubber.... Kits will be available with or without hoses, and the custom fitting can be bare aluminum or anodized.
You can count me in if these can go into production. I'd much rather install these than let Ford replace my junk oil lines with a little bit better junk.

Has Ford released anything about fixing our vehicles in the recall?

Auminum silver finish for me!

I like the hoses and fittings to be silver, much easier to see any drips than if everything black. Plus prefer keeping money in quality components to help keep costs down. Understand and appreciate those that go the extra money and effort for show quality. Good luck with it, put me on your prospect list please.

Thanks to you for this great option and Ford for building this fantastic modern version of the Original GT 350! Waited 50 years for one and well worth the wait and current MSRP. (wish they had trimmed another few hundred pounds, would order the basic radio/rear seat delete R if they weren't unobtanium for the average enthusiast pocketbook) Amazing package in a volume US product --:ford:

So if you replace the oil lines yourself how would you clear the recall on your vin ? Would this be an issue if you were to sell your car, would they see an open recall on it?

Probably. And a perfect opportunity for any subsequent owner to learn all about the "dealer experience" when he notices his splitter dragging on the roadway not long after taking it in to have the recall done.

I'm in on a set of lines. Don't trust any ford dealer to work on my junk anymore.

I'll go to the dealer and pick up the recall lines, but will keep them in a bag in favor of the AN bits. Hopefully that will clear the recall tag on the car.
