Finally got the car weighed. 3450 with 1/2 tank E85. We typically run with less then 1/4, so that should save us another 20+ lbs.

That’s Corvette territory props. I knew a guy, who was an engineer. He had every single bolt nut and scree on his C5 replaced with titanium ones. He said he lost a total of 450lbs. I don’t know how much he spent doing that but that was eye opening.

In case I missed it in a prior thread, what exactly did you guys do to shed so much weight?

No back seat, no passenger seat, muffler delete, resenator delete, Baer front drag brakes, 1 piece driveline, wiper and motor delete, no wiper fluid, antigravity battery, Steeda front crash bar, no spare tire. Also saved 14lbs switching front tires to MT ET Fronts. That’s all I can think of now.
This is a base GT A10

You’re running open headers? I looked it up and the Steeda front and rear crash bars offer a weight savings of 16.5 lbs.

No😂….it has a H-pipe instead of resenator and a “race” axle back instead of the stock mufflers.

Okay, I gotcha. That’s what I run too, except an x-pipe instead of an h. Still loud as hell, bit man does it sound good.

Very nice. What does driver weigh? To be clear, race weight is with driver, correct?

Wow.. Ford really porked up the 19's and up base models. Or that 10r80 has a 100lbs on other transmissions. My base 17' MT82 with a rear seat delete / wheels / axleback / h-pipe weighs 3460lbs.

Shit, you’re light
I’m actually 185, my 19yr old son is 115. As soon as he became faster then me in the car, I made him the driver full time. Now I just hold the air pressure gauge and write the checks😂

These are crazy light weights here. My 21 PP Premium car with Recaro seats , Whipple Gen 5, oversized HE, me (180lbs) and full tank was 4230lbs!! :( Still went 138mph on 93 in the 1/4 though but I can't imagine if I weighed 3500ish LBS!!!
