Is this too much red?

I like the idea when building the car on Ford’s website and I love combinations of black and red. I have not seen one with this combo in person yet. What do you think? I don’t want to overdo it on the red.

I would order one in a heartbeat if I didn't have to buy the digital dash. Race Red w/the black accent package, and Showstopper Red interior. What's not to like? The good thing about the red is that it is subdued by the use of black in other areas of the interior.

And replace your starter button with one that says RED ALERT!

I haven't seen one configured that way but unless the red exterior is a near perfect match for the showstopper red seats, I would be hesitant. Two different shades of red would look wrong to my eyes....

I liked the idea of the red highlights in the interior and I wanted race red exterior.
If the interior red was limited to the stitching I would have gone for it, but as designed it seemed it might be just way too much red for me.
But the question is about (your) style - get what makes you happy!
(I wish I could have seen the combo in person, which might have appealed to me, but didn’t want the risk of the car arriving and me thinking ‘uh oh...’).

That is the way I’m leaning as well. I sat in a shadow black GT the other day with showstopper interior and it looks amazing but the red doesn’t quite match race red paint. I wish we could get the black leather with red stitching on the non Recaro seats.

My old S197 was Colorado red (essentially the same as race red) with red interior, and to be honest, it was red overload. It grew on me a bit, but I still would've been happier with any other exterior color for the Red interior... thus, why I went with Kona Blue/showstopper red for my S550

I’m thinking the same since the two reds don’t exactly match. KB/SSR is a bold combination!

That is a lot of red! Maybe too much for me but all that matters is that you like it. You must be the one vote for not enough red lol.

Haha yeah sadly pictures really don't do the car justice. Trust me it looks a lot better in person. And yes I did vote for not enough red. LOL! :like:
