I want to know what hte trick is to depressurize the lines sufficiently so I don't break my wrist trying to get the quick-connect lines to snap together.
Depressurize (down button) connect and unconnected now easy.

Looking to buy a QuickJack to use for my '15 GT but I have the original Steeda jack rails (short). I've searched the forum and I can only find info on a QuickJack being used with the longer version. Does anyone know if the the short rails will work with a 5000TL/TLX? Was also looking at the 7000TL to have some more flexibility with other vehicles.

I'm looking to potentially add a Maverick to the stable so if one is compatible with both that would be ideal.

Any info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I know I'm late, but if you haven't ordered buy the 7000 ones. Stable as he'll.

No different than the 5000

@shogun32
When the lift is full down. Keep holding the down button count 10 will fix that.

Totally different. For one thing the 7000tl has a 7k lift capability and not 5k. It is heavier and pretty sure longer. I would suggest looking at the spec sheets.

Specs show exactly 76” for both the 5000 and 7000 EXT versions.

I could make a suggestion but it could be unkind and will hurt your feelings I am sure. :champagne:

I wrote NOTHING "caps for your understanding) regarding the lift capabilities. To dumb it down further I quote you .......... "Stable as he'll ........... again no difference.

"pretty sure longer" ? You may want to take your own advice and read the specs...... I will save you the trouble the answer is YES it is:champagne:

good luck

By Quickjack Spec sheet.
7000TLX Lifting Point Spread: 66"
Specs show exactly 76” for both the 5000 and 7000 EXT versions.
They are not the same IAW Quickjack Spec sheet.
- The 7000TLX is heavier duty (98lbs), 17lbs heavier than the 5000TLX (81.5lbs).
- The 7000 TLX frame width (12.5") is 1-1/2" wider than the 5000TLX (11")
- The 7000 TLX has a 7000lbs lift capability, the 5000TLX has a 5000 lift capability
Please stop saying they are the same for they are not.

Nowhere did I say they were the same, I said they had the same overall length which is something you were wrong about. Pipe down sparky.

Nothing to add to this but when they I got my 5000 series years ago (I have the extensions as well) they sent me the standard stuff, but they also sent a heavier duty compressor and heavier duty hydraulic lines. I called them and said hey you sent a second compressor and lines and they said keep it. Nice.

Nice. They seem to be a credible company, and their jacks work very well for my needs.

I would not recommend but I did lift my 2011 nissan titan 4x4 with my 5k. It lifted it without any problem and it weighs in at over 6600lbs. I got it up just high enough to do the front and rear pads and rotate the tires.
