Quickest LE Built/Delivered To Dealer

I have that beat. Mine was built on 11/27 and delivered and picked up at dealer on 12/2. Six days from built to owning!!!

It does but it doesn't. It is all about timing and the logistics train. If they needed 2 cars to fill an auto rack heading out west, two cars would be "expedited" ahead of everything. They may have a whole string that needed to go and maybe 30 cars were needed. It's a complete mystery unless you have the plan.

For those that wait a long time, sometimes the early builds get stuck behind rows and miss the bus so to speak, or in my case the carrier picked up the vehicle and sat it in their yard until they had enough cars to fill an auto rack.

With each LE post like this it makes me happier I switched. You dragged loyal customers through the Mud then deliver a damaged vehicle and then build others and deliver them within a week.

For kicks I tracked with Rachel today. She said it was released 11/29 with an ETA of 12/16....but with a note in the system "subject to change"...I swear that LE hanging on the car hauler is #315....good riddance. This was supposed to be my come back to the Blue Oval and the Mustang but it turned out to be a gauntlet of nut kicks...

I ordered May 13th but a few members on here will tell you that doesn't count as waiting..

That is waiting. For me from December 6th 2013. When I called dealer about a 15 the first time.

I know it seems like I'm trying to "1up" but in that case i've been waiting since December 2012 when I decided I was buying the 50th anniversary mustang no matter what. (Of course I didnt expect a limited edition car that was just a dream come true for me). So as impatient as I'm getting, I'll keep waiting. I'm getting my damn LE even if I die the next day!

Our cars were ordered and built the same day but mine is still listed as not released from the factory with an EDD of 1/8/2015.
