Question: S550 50th and EUR chrome trim

Is the chrome trim found on the 50th and EUR S550's a chrome overlay around the rear 1/4 windows? Meaning does the rear 1/4 window still retain the rubber butyl surround (black) and the chrome is snapped over it?

Same question for chrome from A-pillar to B-pillar over doors?

I'll try and have a close look tomorrow when I'll drive off to work. (I have the EU spec chrome trims) It doesn't look like it's the usual rubber with chrome bits snapped on. But then again, I never had a proper close look at it to see how much rubber actually is there.

The UK ones at least ( not sure about Europe ) can come with it black, but then you get black wheels too, which IMO is much better.

But to each their own I guess.

Indeed, so are you saying that both chrome and black trim are being offered in the UK? Maybe depending on how the car is optioned?

It depends on the package, For example, you cant get recaro seats option with black trim around windows...
This is the case here in Macedonia, Europe

indeed, depends on the package you choose.

In France, if you choose the "Premium Package" you got Silver Wheels, chrome trim and a better interior with white stiching and soft touch on the doors panel.

If you don't choose it, you get Black wheels, Black trim and the standard Ebony black interior.
