Just pained mine in grabber blue.

Looks good.

About to put the last coat of G2 on mine now. Let it sit overnight and put the Brembo decals on in the morning.

What paint did you go with?
Thanks man! I went with G2 paint. It's quality stuff.
Did 3 coats, let it sit overnight and put the stickers on.
You're going to love how it turns out!

Just finished. Three coats and handsome paint left over. It looks pretty good now but I'm hoping it'll look even better once it cures.

It will look better once it cures, and especially once you out the wheels back on. Post some pics up when done!

Will do. She's filthy right now and I'm hoping the weather will let me give her a good bath tomorrow. I'll post pics once I get her cleaned up.

Could you post a close up pic of the quality? Did you sand them down before at all? I want to do mine but I'm scared the texture of the caliper will show through.

I didn't sand them down at all! I'll post some close up pics when I get home. At the in laws getting drunk.

Put the decals on a few minutes ago and removed the masking tape. After I put the wheels back on and get her cleaned up, I'll post a few pics.

The G2 paint is a good product. Once it cures overnight, this is how it turns out.

Had mine wrapped in vinyl.

That turned out nice, Geno. Post a few pics of that beast so we can see the full effect.

Didn't need to sand them down, just cleaned them really well. First I washed them with soapy water, then used the provided brake cleaner and a wire brush. The texture does show through a little, but it still looks good.

I agree. I used a wire wheel on my drill motor and a hand held wire brush. Then cleaned them with the supplied spray on brake cleaner.

On the first one (the driver's side front), I went a bit overboard with the wire brush and drill motor and got it down to bare metal in some spots. Then I realized I didn't need to do this. Just brush them off good and used the brake cleaner.

Here's a pic of the first one cleaned and ready to paint.

Thanks, Man. Just another custom touch for about a $100 bucks and it was a fun project.

Did you keep the brakes on the car?
