Painting Calipers

I'm just north of Austin but we're about to get cold weather. High today will be 79, but the low tonight will be 27 and the high tomorrow is 37. Then two more nights into the 20s before it starts warming up. Luckily no snow or freezing rain is forecast.

I know for our fellow members up north, this probably sounds like nice, mild winter weather. But for us Texans, this is pretty damn cold. :cheers:

Temperature is relative. But that's not cold. I just got back in the house from blowing the snow out of my driveway. Gonna be well below zero here for the foreseeable future. :shrug:

It's what we get accustomed to I suppose. We don't get too many winter days when it's below 32. I daily drive my Mustang all year long on summer tires. I'm just mindful that when it gets below 40 or so, I need to be cautious.

What color would look best on a silver GT with the Black Accent Package? I've considered red but I'm concerned it will be to ricer looking with the standard calipers.

We just did the two front ones, since he didn't want to highlight the little rear two Pistons. But yeah, I had enough to do 2 more for sure.

There are some videos on youtube of wrapping calipers.

Itll cost at least $12 per side (1ft x 1ft if planning to make zero mistakes) per caliper, not counting the backs, so the $40 for G2 to paint them is likely cheaper and will hold up better

About to put the last coat of G2 on mine now. Let it sit overnight and put the Brembo decals on in the morning.
