The 1000's provide overhead. FI calculator says 750 crank hp requires approx 58lb/hr at 80% duty cycle. So those should be fine size wise. Not sure on tune.

All I ever see is the use of id1000's.... I saw these http://www.lethalperformance.com/sh...8lb-flow-matched-fuel-injectors-set-of-8.html

and was curious as to everyone's thoughts? I'm looking to be around 650 to the wheels.... will these be enough? Are these difficult to tune for? Why aren't more people running these? I have a Roush 675hp phase 1 kit with the stock Roush tune.
more people running?

we sell 2-300 sets a year...

tons of guys running, it's all we use in our custom packages

they have more injector data than anyone out there

def a great way to go :)

so would you recommend DW 88 or 95's over ID1K's?

I'll clue you in on a secret.. ID, DW, FIC.. all use the same injector body for these smaller injectors. They're basically OEM Bosch injectors of some sort, with the atomizer caps machined off. Each company goes a little further in depth than the other, and the price goes up, so with ID, you do get a fully tested, broken-in, flow matched set. But, they are expensive. That being said, we typically sell ID.

What Travis said. ID's aren't a bad product at all, but its more marketing than magic.

ID injectors are the way to go! Most of the top brands do use the same Bosch injector but ID makes theirs idle perfect, make very good power, easy to tune etc. We sell a ton of ID injectors for all cars. Always what we recommend!
DW's do not perform as well as the ID injectors from what we have seen. ID all the way. If interested in pricing shoot me a PM!

Plus...and a BIG PLUS...it depends a lot on who your tuner is.

That's not completely true.

Id has a custom break in bench. They break in all the injectors as flow characteristics can change as they break in

They also flow match after that over many more pulse widths than anyone else and match up based on that data

Correct.. ID puts the extra time in. They're worth the money if you want the best injector you can buy. It's one of those things where it matters when you start making big power. The deviations get larger and larger as the power (and injector size) goes up.

I had a long conversation with Danny and Shane at DB Performance about using the ID1700 or DW1500. They were absolutely confident I would have a good result with either, so went with the DW1500.
