My 69 Mustang was a 351 V-8. A 200 cubic inch and a 250 cubic inch inline 6 were also optional. Not to mention various 302, 351, 390, 428, and 429 ci V-8s.

As someone who has owned several Subarus, FUCK NO.

Boxer engines suck, period. It's just a poor design for reliability.
