Will be at Thunderhill all day on sunday the 23rd if anyone else is attending or thinking about it. I'll be running in the red group. [MENTION=16819]Roh92cp[/MENTION] is coming in for a week all the way from Maine, unfortunately without his car, and will be there as well getting him some track time experience. Lots of mustangs of all years show up in this club and it will be my first time running with them. I'm not bringing up the club name as they aren't a sponsor so don't know if that would throw up a red flag from the moderators but it's easy to find by looking at the Thunderhill calendar.

It's OK, events are not like parts...naming is fine;

Driver’s School

Beginner: No track experience required. One-on-one instruction. Instructor ride along, classroom discussion.
No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Yellow Group

Novice: Limited track experience. Controlled passing zones.
No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Red Group

Intermediate: Driver knows how to drive the line. Driver can observe corner workers and obey flag signals. Additional passing zones granted.
No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Red-PLUS Group

Intermediate-Advanced: Driver is comfortable with traffic. Car/Driver speeds are faster. Additional passing zones granted.
No special equipment required except for convertibles*
Green Group

Advanced-Expert: Car/Driver combination is significantly faster.
Racing-style harness 4-Point all cars, convertibles require roll bar
*Convertibles require roll bar or factory installed rollover protection. Cobras with 3-point bars OK, no passengers allowed.

I'll be there this coming Thurs, the 13th if anyone here has planned for that one. Bummer thing is that it's supposed to rain that day.

I'm registered, so I'll be there as long as I don't get torpedoed by work, and as long as it doesn't look like a slopfest.

I've never tracked in the rain, but would be game to give it a try. Just not looking forward to getting myself and gear all soaked and miserable... :(

Ok then. Yes this. I'll be there only on the Sunday but looking forward to seeing the older mustangs and what's been done to them. The roster is full of mustangs from '66 on up to our years. Hope to see anyone from the forums as well.
