Lol! I think I'll hold out for Ford on this one. The only reason I was eager for v2.2 was to get CarPlay working before a few long trips that I wanted to be able to navigate using Apple Maps.

I'm in no rush to get the $ char back.

If there are any similarities you can open some of the files with any text editor and the country spec should be in the comments somewhere.

Confirming that the Non Nav Update works on Sync 3 2.0 units!

Tips for install: Follow the instructions in the OP. I had the most luck with exFAT for USB format.

Non Nav will go through a stage 1 install and reboot. DO NOT turn the car off or remove the drive. The system will automatically reboot. Once it reboots it will appear as though it is not doing anything... WAIT. After about 5 min it should display the system updating message and then about 10 min after that the update should complete.

That isn't the North American version.

I did a master reset first then exfat format on win10.. my gracenotes came up correct as NA, try master reset first...I cant find android auto preferences on this new version:shrug:
