At this point the only thing my '16 has that I couldn't have gotten on a discounted '15 are blinker indicators in the hood... one of which I can't even see.:rant:

No sync 3 on the 15's.

It's August 20th and the text at owner.flm.com has been changed to eliminate the promise of a summer delivery.

Ford never said Summer. It's always said "late 2016" as far back as the original January press release (see first post in this thread).

I wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot pole that is at least four revisions behind in the current Android ecosystem. That looks like ice cream sandwich. After that was Jelly Bean KitKat and now marshmellowe, which is about to be replaced by Android N

There's more to this than they're letting on. Based on the radio display, they're not in the US (the station names and even-number FM Frequencies) and later you can tell from the maps and Google search, they're in Sweden. SYNC3 is not yet available internationally (but soon). Also, the red highlights to SYNC 3 are a giveaway that this is not just a module added to a stock SYNC 3 system.

Yes I get Ford Credit, which is also my Financier. It really just redirects to the Ford Credit website.

I think they use a stock image for the Mustang. The image displays a magnetic convertible (edit: I just relaunched the app and it shows the correct Guard EcoBoost Fastback. odd.)

My Wallet looks to be a place to store payment information for "FordPass services", whatever that is. Maybe a way to pay for FordPass Connect subscriptions for vehicles with the LTE system?

Post #173 has the old verbiage from the flm owner site quoted...

"Note: Android Auto is available on 2017 model year Ford vehicles with compatible SYNC 3. Owners of 2016 model year Ford vehicles with SYNC 3 are required to perform a software upgrade to use Android Auto. Please check back on the Ford Owner site this summer for more information about this upgrade."

While it doesn't say the upgrade would be out this summer, it said there would at least be info about it. Now... nothing.:doh:
