I agree. I was beginning to think LMR was never going to have these in stock again. I started looking at other wheels but I kept on coming back to the SP2. Mine are on the way. Got my shipping notification.
Awesome looking car BTW!
Heck yeah! You'll love em

I think you have to check frequently.. i found my 19x10 graphite randomly in stock 3 days after i saw they were out of stock, with an expected in stock date of a month from when i bought them.

Something big and shiny showed up on my porch today. I love them and they aren't even on the car yet. :inlove:

Got my new wheels on and took it for a drive! Then had to snap some photos of course.

Tires are Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02. I think I like these better than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (MPS4S has better rim protection though). Altogether 32 lbs less unspung weight compared to the PP1 wheels. I'm surprised by the difference in how much better the car soaks up road imperfections and is less jarring. Could I be imagining it? I also like the fact I can clean the calipers without removing the wheels.
I thought the gloss black might be too dark. But in real life, they look better than the photos.

^ What size tires? Looks noice.
A lot of times, people compare brand new tires to their old worn out tires, so of course the new ones are gonna feel better, quieter, cushier etc.

Sizes are:
Front: 285/35R19 on 10" wheel with +35 offset.
Rear: 325/30R19 on 11" wheel with +50 offset.

Tires that came off had less than 12 thousand miles on them. Still had plenty of tread life. So I will be selling them soon.

I feel ya. My stock Pirelli AS tires at 4k miles are noticeably worse than when they were at 200 miles. Feels like it's on ice skates sometimes.

I was washing my wheels today to remove the tire lube and noticed the shop scratched both back wheels installing the tires. I thought it was just dried tire lube but sadly, not. The scratches go halfway around the sharp corner on the rims. The shop that did them said they needed to do the rear 30 profile tires on their state of the art machine with their experienced tech. Such a nice gesture. 🙄

Hard to see when looking at the rim straight on. But from the side, there's a clear line where the paint is gone. I don't think its down to bare aluminum.

How to deal with this? Take them back and get the rims repaired? Gloss black is going to be hard to hide a repair. Would they need to repaint the whole wheel? Seems like a lot of trouble. Use touch up paint? Seems like that would be quickest, most unprofessional way to do it.

I'm pissed.

Touch it up, don't go back there again, and enjoy your awesome car.
