Just creating a new thread for people to post any races they have done along with whatever mods have been done to both cars and how they went.

I have raced a 2017 Camaro SS with intake, tune, kooks 3in long tubes, Corsa X-pipe and mufflers, and gutted. My car has an intake tune and roush cat backs. To be fair the Camaro does come with more base HP and he does have more mods but I am very pleased on how well my S550 did against him. Off the jump it was even but he did slowly pull away, but not as bad as he usually does on other 5.0.

Also I have raced a stock 2018 GT 10-speed auto PP just to compare and needless to say, they're not as fast as you think it would be. Off the jump I just went, and kept going. Also take into account that im running stock tires, 235's all around so I was all over the place and still pulling on him.

2016 SS I beat when I was stock. Probably had something to do with driver.

Focus RS got murdered from a roll. It was roll race day so he was at a disadvantage.

I got completely obliterated by an Audi RS8. I got him on the first roll, but he killed me bad on the second one. I mean, it was ugly. Of course I was doing 40 in 3rd gear. I was asking for it. He still would've got me even if I started in 2nd.

FYI, these were all sanctioned events on a closed course.

I raced a:

BMW 335I with tune, down pipe, intake, and exhaust. We did a 40 roll and it was pretty close but I pulled away.

2015 SS Camaro with intake, cat back exhaust and tune. We did a 30 roll and I beat him by 2 car lengths.

2012 Audi R8 V10 from a dig just for S&G's and i got obliterated.

Was the SS modded or stock as well?

Looked stock. Never opened his hood or spoke really.

I lapped a new Corvette Z06 my last time at the road course. Whipped by him like he was standing still more than once.

There was a Hellcat charger there and he pulled me on the straight but once we got to corners I passed him and never saw him again.

Or are you looking for straight line stuff only?

My buddy has a full bolt on 335i, it’s quick but I still beat him. Haha I bet the R8 was fun though

Ferrari 488 from about a 50 roll.
Got murdered.

Raced a modded 370z as well. We were even until 60, in which i lproceeded to passed him even with 80% throttle

The only car I lost to this year was a dodge Demon. Hit some oil a honda left on the track and got sideways. My wife ended the year undefeated. Here's a video of her racing a supercharged s197 coyote.

Haha stood no chance with a 488 unless you end up boosted, then that would be a fun race. My buddy has a 370z as well and he did a pull at 40 or 50 and I just went half throttle in drive and still put cars on him, Lol poor guy

Wow what a beautiful 5.0, that’s a mean build. Cool video too, my friend has an almost fbo 6th gen SS with about 455whp and 483 lb-ft of torque and beats hellcats. He’s getting an intake manifold and throttle body installed and getting it tuned Monday. Will have to post a video of it, it’s a pretty dope car

Any kind of races, just wanting to hear different peoples stories about people they’ve raced. I bet that hellcat was having a tough time on the corners haha, those things are too big and heavy for quick maneuvers

Walked a brand new M5 a few months back, and a 13/14ish GT500 three, or so, weeks ago. Not much of a race in either case... Still waiting for a Cat or Z06 to get a decent run in
