You only want to shift once if you're trying this so I'd pick a 40 roll in 2nd. You'll probably get beat by a few car lengths but as long as your e85 is testing good you probably wont lose that bad. The 40-115 is the m6's only party zone. 1st is too likely to hit torque limiters or spin.

I don’t know why…. Maybe it’s the winter and my car still in storage but this thread somehow made me smile and made my day. Thanks all who contributed. :)

Find your way to a really windy road, you'll stand a much better chance there.

I'll never understand what anyone gets from roll racing automatics.

To each, his own, I suppose! I feel the same about roll racing in general. I've always loved Drag racing. However, every since I've started buying 2 sets of tires a year and breaking parts, I don't much like doing any form of racing. I just enjoy the car and the feeling of the power. If there's a clear road, and you're driving a car I can admire be it red-light or roll. I'll see what you're made of!

Easy. 2nd gear at 5000 rpm or so. Shift fast don't miss a gear and you give Mr Kitty fits. Assuming 15-17 Mustang. edit: you have a D4. Good luck.

I run a buck 25 (give or take) on a regular basis. I ain't full bolt-on.
don't know all your mods but I'm guessing you have taken some weight out of the car?

Yes... if you can't out-horsepower them, get rid of weight.

I did actually. I’ve come to the conclusion that a challenger hellcat would stomp me. I raced a charger hellcat he had a passenger and I only kept up down low due to wheel spin on his end. However, from about 60-100 the cars were door to door. Again above 100 he started slowly pulling away. I don’t remember what gear I started in because it was a street situation and just randomly pulled up. Honestly it was a lot closer race than I expected based on everyone here saying I was going to get shit on.

Another race, just dragged an acquaintance with an older M6 hellcat challenger. Tires are the factor between these cars on the street. I think a 10 speed car with the same wheel/tire setup and e85/intake mods I have would run real close to an auto hellcat.
