I like Motor Trend for their videos, which are typically very well produced. I also think Randy Pobst is great.

However, their written articles have been getting more and more confusing and difficult to read. This one for example is very unclear about the fuel, and even their attempts at clarification have made things more confusing.

I do think some of their observations are correct, such as how the EB engine falls flat at the top of the rev range, but it is very difficult to trust many of their opinions or data due to the inconsistency in their reporting.

Road and Track is a much better magazine IMO, with better photography and better writing, but they don't do as much online content.

Hopefully MT can improve their writing and get some more detailed science in their articles to help with their credibility.

Just read a CD article on the 2.0t camaro this is the last sentence of the review. " camaros aren't for everyone, but a camaro with a 2.0- liter turbo is, shall we say, for no one."
They love it one minute and dislike it the next. The sales numbers and buying public has proven its not for most of us.
