Kudos for the Lotus Sunbeam.
Thanks,
Out of all those cars, my favourite was the 159 for looks alone but the one that puts a smile on my face is the sunbeam. I was an absolute animal and really showed up the escort mexico and xr2 brigade in traffic light Grand Prixs

Citroen BX19DTR
Saab 90
Citroen Xantia Activa Turbo
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (5.7L v8 auto) - new, LHD, used as my daily driver for 3 years and did 60K miles
Citroen Xantia V6
a couple of Citroen C5 diesels
Citroen C4
Citroen C5
MG TF
and now a Mustang EB Auto convertible on order...

I am sure there are some others along the way as well that I can't recall.... not bad considering 40 years of driving!
Only one Ford in all that time, and the only thing I really recall about the Escort GT was I had been driving it for a while before I discovered accidently that it had 2 speed wipers when I pressed the rocker switch harder than usual.

The Dyane and 2CV's were when I was newly married and struggling financially, but they were a hoot with the roof open and the kids really enjoyed them, which gave the hankering for a convertible, hence the MG TF and now the Mustang. I have now had the TF for five years as a "second" car; it is the Stepspeed (auto) which is why I have gone for the auto on the 'stang. I share my driving between the MG TF and the Citroen C5 - I still haven't decided which one will go; head says TF and heart says C5.

Almost...test drove one late last year, almost signed on the line too. They couldn't get hold of the one in the spec that I wanted so I said forget it. Must be fate :D
