I would have said you could reasonably expect a manufacturer to be able to produce seats that kept their shape at any price point.

I don't seek for luxury feeling but I hoped that the seats would resist more than a month ! For sure with this price we couldn't receive "Alcantara" or premium Leather.

Yes, 37 000 € or 42 000€ is cheap if you compare the HP with luxury brands. But IMO, it's still a lot of money ! And if the seats are looking like this after a month, how will they look next year ? :eyebulge: :frusty:

I personally hoped the interior was going to be of better quality. Most of the stuff felt like it would break or scratch very easily. Maybe next gen ? if it isn't taken of our market before then.

Its not a EU Mustang its a US Mustang homogenized for the EU market.

Ill be looking what happens with the MY '17 and decide to go new or second hand.

PS: It only looks like good value because there is basically no competition. Cheaply build Coupe with a NA V8 and 400+ HP. Sounds amazing but the majority of the people in the EU couldn't care less, maybe 5 countries that make that car affordable, the others are boned with high taxes.

Good enough to be replaced under warranty.
I highly doubt. The issue is not the leather but the foam inside. In other words the whole seat.

Way too costly....the most possible is to refuse warranty based on "user usage".

Although you may give a try.....

In fact , Ford does care to sell for these 5 countries, which hold above 80% of EU stake....

People say the Mustang is a big car.

But, it's actually smaller than a Volvo V70.

The Mustang is 192cm wide without mirrors. The Hummer H1 is 220cm without mirrors.

Even with mirrors, the Mustang is only 210cm, still ten cm less than the Hummer without mirrors.

So... What Hummer are you basing this on? The H3? Because that was pretty small for an SUV.

But if you don't believe me about the V70, check out the dimensions:

It's longer, higher, and just as wide.

mirrors or no mirrors, you drive with mirrors open.

I am really worried about underground garages and stuff..

Yeah but if you include mirrors, the V70 is 2106mm to the Mustang's 2080. And the Hummer including mirrors is 84 inches, or 2136mm. So, trust me, you're fine ;)

Right. So... one says 2106, the other says 2080.
