After a mishap earlier this week, it's time to say goodbye to the EcoBoost, all too early! Not sure what's next !

I got out a little banged up, but am impressed by how it protected me

Definitely looks like a T-bone straight in the driver door. My ā€˜88 got hit in the door like that and if I was wearing my seatbelt I was gone. Saw it coming and was able to jump into the passenger seat.

Wow Frank!

Glad youā€™re ok though and not extremely injured.

Whatā€™s the back story?

Whatā€™s your next ride, SUV?

Owch. Keep an eye on your neck/back after that hit. Luckily these cars are tanks. Good luck

I looked at a ā€œbig carā€ (ct6), then shook my head, donā€™t think I can do that! Went back to looking at a mustang, different color, and 201 group. Thanks for you thoughts!!

Good idea, the Mustang is much more stiff and safe than any other SUV out there (except a Hummer, but well, we can not all play the game of who got it bigger).
Also, there is not only the factor when somebody hits you but also (and much more important) capabilities of missing an accident thanks to maneuverability and brake power or a combination of both.

Good to see that the shake didn't alter your ability to make judgements :like:.

For the next one you want a S550 or S650? Could also be an excuse to get a GT.

Sorry to see this, but the safety equipment in these cars is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and find a GOOD chiropractor in you area and get checked out. In an accident like that, there are a lot of forces transferred to your body. Lot's of micro-tearing of the muscles, ligaments, and tendons. As that heals with scar tissue, if you don't train it properly you will lose range of motion, and it will cause aches and pains that you won't associate back to the accident months later. If you want, PM me and we can chat about it further.
