I'm back, can't believe I bought another one

This Saturday I went to a charity event at Texas Motor Speedway (Texas's current active 1.5 mile NASCAR track). A couple of friends and I did 2 3-lap sessions where we got to drive on track with pace cars. Even though it wasn't a track day, it was still fun. I did high 60s avg speed the first session, the second session I did high 80s or low 90s avg speed, top speed of 110 mph. We were able to take different lines and ride high on the bank and get close to the walls on the start/finish straight, etc.

I only got to go WOT once, but damn the voodoo sounded good at high rpm with those walls so close. I just wish I could've heard my own car going around the track, I'm sure the other people attending enjoyed hearing our 2 GT350s out on track!

I forgot to mention, I hit 1,000 miles during the caravan to the event (while I was shooting those rolling shots of the Shadow Black GT350 and the Grabber Blue GT).

Yea I like that one too! I hope next time I can get some better video (audio mainly). It was a good event, I'm glad we went.

Installed Steeda jack rails and did my first oil change @ 1300~ miles. The heatgun was for planned stripe delete, but didn't get to that task just yet...

Went for a 100~ mile drive on the best twisty roads we have near Dallas today with [MENTION=19500]TxOilMoney[/MENTION]. Here's a few pics from an impromptu photoshoot of our cars dirty and being used!

Then started my stripe delete at a cookout at the Shelby hangar! I'm loving how it looks, especially driving home at sunset and looking out over the clean shiny stripeless hood!

Both looks are sweet, I think I favor the with stripes but can't go wrong with either.

Funny, leaving the dealer I was 99% set on adding stripes to my Ruby Red, but after looking at it the last couple of days without them, I like it that way. One less thing to worry about as well.

Much cleaner stripeless. Makes the car look wider too.
